2018 marks the 17th year of the Samuel P. Capen Garden Walk, a free self-guided tour of more than 70 private gardens and carefully nurtured public spaces. The Capen Garden Walk is designed to encourage neighborhood beautification and collaboration and to build strong communities.
Each year hundreds of people come to see our gardens and get to know our neighborhoods. We publish a map booklet to help visitors locate the beautiful gardens. Advertisements in the map booklet help us to pay for garden walk activities, including the Christine Brooks Garden Grant program. If you buy an ad in our map booklet, it will be seen by hundreds of people. In addition, your business will be mentioned on our website and on our Facebook page.
