The University District meeting, place scheduled for this Saturday, Feb 29  has changed.  Instead of going to St. Lawrence church.  We will be at Gerard Place at Bailey and Delavan  Time is still 9 am

There will be a University District Community breakfast and meeting at 1520 E. Delavan Street on February 29th from 9-12 pm.  RSVP to 716 851 5165.

Grant Information:

A press conference  on January 31, 2020 was held at Parkside Candy this morning to announce that a grant has been given to the UDCDA to assist property owners on Main Street to beautify facade improvements and building renovations

Electronic Recycling Event: January 25 9 AM-Noon

UB South Campus Main-Bailey Parking Lot. Entrance South Campus  Train Station Loop.

Each car  can have a maximum of 2  Unbroken tubes(TV’s or monitors)per vehicle.

Recyclable items are:

Computers, TVs, tablets,monitors,cameras, copiers, fax machines, scanners, printers, VCR’s and DVD players, cable boxes, digital music players, electronic or video game consoles, cell phones, audio/video (AV) equipment, fitness trackers and smartwatches, GPS devices and rechargeable batteries.

Items NOT accepted include:

Large kitchen appliances, air conditioners, dehumidifier, any liquids or powders, yard equipment, CD’s, DVD’s and VHS and cassette tapes, fluorescent lamps, smoke detectors and alkaline batteries.
