Public Art at the UB Anderson Gallery

Anderson Gallery

Thanks to the University at Buffalo Art Galleries, University Heights is getting public art!

In collaboration with local community members, artist Amanda Browder will use recycled and donated fabric to create large-scale art piece that will be installed on the UB Anderson Gallery from September 11-14th. It will then relocate to the UB Art Gallery at the CFA as part of the group exhibition Splitting Light.

Volunteers are needed for sewing days to trim, pin and sew, with no experience needed. Donations of fabric in large pieces are still being accepted. Brightly colored, non stretchy patterned fabric, including bolts and half-bolts are preferred. Please drop off fabric at the UB Anderson Gallery (1 Martha Jackson Place).

Sewing days are: July 8; 12-5PM and July 9-11; 10-4PM
