DID YOU KNOW…

  • LEAD is a poison that can be found in paint, dust & soil. LEAD poisoning can cause
    serious health problems in
    children & adults. LEAD paint is most likely present in homes & properties built before 1978.
  • This class teaches you how to use lead safe work practices and recognize proper lead safe work techniques that are required by the EPA for contractors, property managers, and landlords to use when working on your home or rental unit.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Home Owners working on your Primary Residence and are concerned about lead hazards.
  • Everyone is welcome to learn about Lead Safe Work Practices.
  • If you were cited by the Health Department for Lead Based Paint Violations you are required to be Certified to Perform Lead Safe Work Practices.
  • There is a hands-on requirement in order to receive Certification to Perform Lead Safe Work Practices.
  • If you are unable to do the work yourself, we recommend that you bring someone with you who can receive the certification and do the work.
  • Lead Primary staff will be on hand to help those who need to complete WORK PLANS.
