How to keep your glasses from fogging up while wearing a mask

As we all know the Governor  has issued an order for everyone to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible and we must wear masks in grocery stores etc. to protect ourselves and those around us.    I wear glasses and found that they fog up when wearing a mask.   I picked up this tip from facebook.  If you tie a knot in the part of the mask (as shown) that goes over your ear, the mask is then tighter and  air will not escape from the top of the mask and fog up your glasses

Thank you Mickey Vertino and the University Heights Collaborative and ABC Hardware for donations and distributions of masks to our community.

Face Masks at ABC Hardware

Over the years ABC hardware has donated to eight days of Hope, The fathers groups, and many other religious leaders like Paster Giles, George Johnson Brek Cockrell and many other community groups in our community. This latest donation of masks was given to the the University Heights Collaborative to be distributed to the community. Mr. Begley has always been a positive force in our community. We would like to thank him for his donations over the years and during the current crisis facing our community.

Face Masks

ABC  hardware donated 500 mask and UHC is donating 500 masks in a collaborative effort.  They are to be distributed to block clubs and individuals in the University District free of  charge   Thank you ABC hardware, University Heights Collaborative,
and community members.

A special shout out of thanks to Mickey our UHC President.

UB On The Green Information and Voting Information

 Dear Community Partner,

The Office of Community Relations has made the difficult decision to cancel UB on the Green for 2020. We always appreciate the enthusiasm around this event and are looking for ways to engage the community this summer in a healthy and safe way. We will be in touch as we develop our plans.  For more information on the University at Buffalo’s response to the coronavirus outbreak please visit buffalo.edu/coronavirus.

Thank you and we look forward to working with you in the future,
