The University Heights Collaborative

Fostering grassroots community development in northeast Buffalo

The University Heights Collaborative (UHC) is a community-based group of residents and other interested stakeholders working together to maintain and enhance the quality of life for all in our neighborhood.

Our mission is to maintain and enhance the quality of life within the University Heights by working with residents, property owners, block clubs, UB staff and students, law enforcement, business owners and elected officials in order to coordinate and develop resources and responsibilities within the community.

University Heights is a unique, diverse, and affordable community located in the northeast corner of Buffalo.

The Heights has seen incredible change since it’s original development in the early 20th century. It remains a highly walkable and dynamic neighborhood, with vibrant commercial districts filled with local small businesses, an eclectic mix of historic homes, a multitude of parks, and access to public transit.

Wondering how you can help?

The UHC is committed to taking a proactive approach to addressing quality of life issues in our neighborhood. Help support our work in the community by volunteering, joining our monthly meetings, or making a donation. UHC is active year-round and warmly welcomes all newcomers.
